Nothing at all, we also need a little over 3000 kWh for two. I don’t understand how you can get by with 1500 kWh. But maybe those people have particularly energy-efficient large appliances, the PC only runs half an hour a day, no cooking is done, etc.

I also find it hard to imagine. That’s how much we used together 20 years ago. With 4-5 people, actually 3000-4000 on average are usually due. But that then indeed also includes daily cooking, tumble drying, etc.... without heat pump.

We come to 7500 with air-water heat pump + controlled residential ventilation and household electricity for three people. It strongly depends on usage. Do you work from home? That has a huge impact on our electricity bill. Also, we rarely watch traditional TV (1-2 devices in the evening), but often play games together in the evening (6-8 devices in the evening). Working from home is not just the 2 laptops running, but also 4 monitors in our case, lights, coffee machine, etc. - basically the things you otherwise use for free at the office.

I can confirm. Four people and 4-5000 KWh household electricity per year. With controlled residential ventilation. However, also a lot of cooking, large refrigerator and freezer chest, and the dryer runs very often.

I had researched that once as well. Of course, there are large ranges, but about 1000 KWh per year per person is rather average. (without heating and hot water).

But if you rarely cook/bake, don't use a dryer, don't have a freezer... there can definitely be significant differences.

If you have had an apartment so far, then you do not pay the technical electricity directly but through the heating costs hidden: i.e. pumps and operation of the gas boiler. In a detached house, that can quickly be 300 to 500 kWh per year, which now appears directly on the electricity bill. In addition, a controlled residential ventilation system in the house also uses 300 to 500 kWh. In addition, we had a tumble dryer because of the baby (we never had one before, about 300 kWh) and a freezer (250 kWh). We previously had 1500 kWh in the apartment and now 3500 kWh in the house (without a heat pump and excluding the electric car). Home office rarely took place in the apartment, but now it is the standard case. Oh yes, if you use a lot of KNX or dimmers in your house—that all has standby consumption too!

Can someone say something about the actual topic? Who is currently receiving the funding? Is it possible for private customers to get something or is it aimed at businesses that feed the energy directly in?
