I am always amazed at how simple measures are enough to make plants winter-hardy.

I have not made mine winterproof at all yet. The worst frostbites are inside, the rest protected on the terrace. As long as it does not get really cold, meaning several nights and days with -5 degrees and below, I won't do anything more.

Certain palm trees are said to withstand temperatures down to -15 degrees.

I find it really interesting to see the results again. May I ask again if you could also give us an insight into the luxuriously announced bathrooms :)? What have you implemented? Special materials, whirlpool, sauna? Best regards

Yes, money wasn’t really lacking, but to put it simply, it’s just that if you CAN, you simply DON’T HAVE TO! That’s happening more and more often... whether it’s cars, other goodies that you find nice and pretty... maybe I’m special in that regard, I don’t have big material wishes, because IF I could, I would fulfill them, unless it really exceeds my budget, and a wish for, for example, a yacht for 10 million or a painting hasn’t come up so far not not ;)

Pictures bathroom... I’m doing! I wanted a natural stone bathroom, and that’s what I got, the slabs were cut from a big stone that we had looked at before, it turned out great, I think. Whirlpool, sauna... not really my thing! But I like to bathe when it’s cool, always about 10 minutes in a warm tub, great! That’s also why a small tub (the narrowest there was), so it fills up quickly!

There is our bathroom with natural stone, the boys’ bathroom (tiles) and the girl’s... that also has tiles. Plus guest toilet and small bathroom next to the guest room, also tiled. I’ll take some pictures... from inside!!
