When preparing a garage, also remember the cables from your [Technikraum] to the garage.

We are increasingly leaning towards the Hoffmann Bimsgarage. Requesting the foundation plan is a great idea, I think that's how we'll do it. Drainage is already noted, I will also have that done as far as possible. A 100mm empty conduit to the garage is already planned. The cables themselves will be installed later as our own work. Thanks for the answers

We and our neighbors in the row house development, which we moved into in 2001, had this situation. First graveling and later having the garage delivered worked wonderfully, directly adjacent to the house. The foundations were made by the garage supplier. Before that, it was simply just gravel. From this experience, I would not do anything at all for now.

I think we probably have to do it like that as well. I would at least like to have gravel laid to the right height.

We got the offer from Hoffmann Garage today. It was a similar shock to our first earthworks offer (€40k). 4.3m x 6m single garage with door and window €32,000. I will definitely look elsewhere first; that is ridiculously expensive. We will skip the window anyway, but that's only about €500.

I haven't bought one in a long time, but that sounds too expensive to me as well. From a technical perspective, modern cars no longer need the protection of a garage. Bicycles, grill, garden tools, and so on don't need such an expensive enclosure; that can be solved differently. If you have a special automotive treasure, of course, that's another matter.

Around the corner from us, someone sells used prefabricated garages. I saw how someone simply modernly clad them with weathered battens. Basically, I prefer carports with a storage room, both visually and in terms of price. Here, one can simply customize a lot oneself, and that also with relatively little money and still stylish.
