Ah, so the second one then blocks the garage entrance?
For vacation, do you travel by train, plane, or dad's car?
Do you have a separate parking spot?

Ventilation is certainly necessary if the water cannot condense somewhere (window…).
We have no ventilation, but three "portholes" in the garage door where moisture settles.

Wipe a few times, open the door a little... and that's fine.

The garage is in the basement, outside the thermal envelope, but still insulated.

We still have another parking space / garage, so it would not be a problem. For vacation, it can sometimes be by plane or by car. What the future holds in 3-4-5 years, I do not know. If there are fewer and fewer combustion engine cars and the purchase costs, ranges, and charging times of electric cars are not affordable, vacation trips by car may become somewhat more difficult.

What would you recommend for an electric fan (e.g. from Zehnder or Helios)?

Does your utility company even approve 2 wall boxes with 11 kW each or one with 22 kW, and does your house connection allow for that?

I talked to the utility company. In principle, 22 kW would not be a problem since there are no or few wallboxes on the street. But it wouldn't be good to grant approval "for those who come first" and make the rest look into empty conduits. Therefore, 11 kW and if I have multiple chargers, I should use a load management system that never draws more than 11 kW.

Regarding ventilation, I am still having difficulty making a decision to close this thread for myself. Have any users installed a decentralized ventilation system in a garage here?

I am considering whether it could be one of these devices:

[*]A fan for supply and exhaust ventilation (e.g. ComfoSpot 50)
[*]Two fans, one for supply and another for exhaust (e.g. Zehnder ComfoSpot Twin40)
[*]ComfoSpot 70 would probably be too oversized (~€200 additional cost)

What, apart from investment, operating, and maintenance costs, do you expect from an actively ventilated garage? I would have said, 2-4 wall vents and that's it.
