So we live in a village, so the neighbors would keep an eye on when work starts and ends. The weigh ticket is not necessary because the gravel/delivery is coming from another company. I just can't imagine that it takes so long for such a small pit of 50cm depth. I would have thought a maximum of 2 days. One day to dig out, one day to bring in and compact the gravel...

Yes, I agree. It really shouldn't take that long. Either he plays it safe or because the material comes from others, he just calculates the waiting time with a buffer, and what could also be is that he has a small excavator. 650 EUR including driver per day is not that much, in my opinion.

Who is doing the sewage work for you? That also takes a lot of time because it is very detailed. For me, it took two days to remove the topsoil, lay the sewage and utility trench with empty conduits, and refill everything. The remaining 3 days were then graveling, insulation, formwork. On the 6th day, concrete was poured.

I also find 150€ for setting up/clearing the construction site more suitable for a small excavator that still fits behind the 7.5-ton truck.

The frost skirt, reusable partition, base plate, and the sewer pipes (up to 50cm from the BP) are done by Heinz von Heiden. We do the sewer ourselves, which is about 20cm to the shaft on our property. So it really only needs to be excavated, then separation fleece inserted and gravel layered in and compacted. I find 6 days too long for this, even if you work alone. The excavator operator, who works by the hour, apparently has a 2.7-3.5t excavator. The excavator operator in the neighboring town has many large and heavy machines/vehicles, so I think it will be a bigger excavator.

3t is still in the range of a mini excavator with a correspondingly small bucket. It simply takes a long time to transport the material from A to B.
