and regarding the living-dining area (or the living area in general):
Yes, correct, in my idea this area is on the ground floor and therefore has no direct access to the garden but only via a large terrace and stairs from there.
On the one hand, I like the idea of being able to live there even in old age without having to climb stairs
and on the other hand, being able to access the garden directly from the bedroom(s) while a terrace with an extended cooking/dining area (grill, garden chairs, etc.) from the kitchen/dining area is sufficient.
Is that very unusual thinking, or what speaks so strongly against this idea?
