That may well be the case that it gets more expensive with the road at 7, but that would definitely not stop me from taking it, as it is the nicest for me. No idea how the OP sees it.

So we also live on two streets... the actual main street, which also leads to the property, and a second one that runs past it.

The street that runs past is in a higher cleaning class and it is about 40 meters of street. The annual increased amount is about 30 euros.

Street expansion contributions have now also been abolished in many federal states, haven't they...?

There are no street improvement contributions according to the latest clarification.

I was on-site again and the main advantage of lot no. 7 is the relatively large distance to the neighboring houses. In other words, the view in the garden appears somewhat more open and free. There is no garage or similar structure on the boundary.

What still makes me hesitate are the 5 single-family houses along the play street. Their driveway passes directly past lot no. 7. Could this be disturbing later on or will it hardly be noticeable in everyday life? It will be 6 or 7 now.

Thank you again, the discussion is very helpful.

May I ask which federal state you come from, where there are no more Strabs!?!

No, it is not noticeable.
Why should it be? You are sitting behind the house or a hedge… here, 15 households would have to drive past in their cars and I don’t notice it in the garden. At the moment, the birds are quite loud and a mower about 300 meters as the crow flies is somewhat annoying. Also, it is a play street… so bollards will be put up and green men and red cars will be displayed :)

The previously mentioned building area is in Bavaria. After some consideration, I have decided on plot 6. The decisive reasons were:

+ Only one street passes in front of the property
+ I stood on both plots and especially liked the view in the garden better. The gut feeling was better.
+ Purchase price is 10k cheaper

Unexpectedly, I received an offer after applying for another building area in BW. The location of the area has more shopping facilities, offers a primary/secondary school, and the commute would be 15 minutes shorter. However, the purchase price is +25%. The allocated building plot would be number 15. Does this offer any disadvantages compared to the previous choice? Spontaneously, I see:

- Neighboring plot 14 is small. Accordingly, building will presumably be on the border.
- Plot 20 opposite lies somewhat higher, thus offering a good view into plot 15.
- The plot is cut at an angle. From previous discussions, I understand that this can also offer advantages.

Thanks again for all the comments.
