I thought the same until yesterday. Yesterday we were able to swim very nicely in OWL. In the "paved" districts, it looked very EXTREME here. Water always finds the easiest way... nicely downhill and you could see that very well here. The street looked like a raging river  Good that I don't live there myself and my house was not affected. But you could feel sorry for the residents. Therefore, I would always try to get a higher plot of land and a south-facing roof (for photovoltaics). But that is just my personal opinion.

Meaning? For the OP's question?

First of all, I would like to sincerely thank you for the many meaningful and helpful answers.

I visited the site again today and carefully looked at the available plots. The neighboring properties of 5, 6, 7 are already developed; below is a photo of this. It shows the entrance to the play street.

Based on my gut feeling, I still tend to prefer plot no. 6 for the following reasons:

[*]Only one street runs past the property
[*]The play street is quite close
[*]The neighboring house has a low garage on the boundary line (unlike plot 5)
[*]Quieter (traffic noise) than plots 23/29
[*]Plot 6 is higher than 23/29 (slight incline at the access)

I had not considered plot 3 until now. I would spontaneously see the larger front area as a disadvantage here. I think it is rather more difficult to create privacy than behind the house?

After looking at the pictures, is plot 6 still a sensible choice?

Thanks again!

Applies to 23 as well How do you conclude that? I think on plot 23 you can achieve a wonderful southwest orientation of the house. Garage in the north.

So the white house in the picture would be the house opposite on plot No. 8. The garage here is already completed.

Pick any one of those. For floor plan variations, come back with your own post in the appropriate forum :)
