Hello dear forum,
we are just about to finalize our house planning. One detail is still missing. We would like to have Mediterranean potted plants in the garden (i.e. olive, lemon, oleander, etc.). In older houses, such plants are overwintered in an unheated but brick-built shed. In new buildings, it is probably too warm for that (even in the basement). Which (cost-effective) solution can you recommend or do you use for an overwintering place? Garden shed with frost guard, cold winter garden, brick room outside the thermal envelope, or other alternatives?
Thank you all!
Pablo
