I would arrange both children's rooms on the upper floor facing south and make them larger if possible. Why? Because children tend to spend much more daytime in them than you do in your bedroom.

The side access to the carport is quite nice, but the path is not really much shorter than through the front door. The question is whether this space can be used more efficiently with a different floor plan layout.

Basically, I find the floor plan well done. The bay window in the north also does not make sense to me. Then I would divide the utility room into freezer and utility room. The office could be bigger, the second front door is usually unnecessary. I don't like the accesses to the dressing room/bedroom, I would arrange the doors of the bathroom and bedroom directly opposite each other. I like the exterior view less, but that is often a matter of taste where one cannot argue. The east side could use a window.

By the way, I do not see now that the questionnaire has been filled out...

I would plan a window in the dressing room and let the doors to the bathroom and bedroom start right at the front, so the door only hits the cabinets behind it. In the bathroom, I would plan an inverted L instead of the T solution and place the toilet on the upper right wall. This enlarges the shower, which I find too small as currently planned. I don’t quite understand the room above the living area, will that be a study?

Best regards
Sabine

Wow, I think the house is totally great, inside as well as outside. But I also find the children's rooms way too small, especially in such a big house. There is also no hobby room where they can let off steam. Personally, I would rather do without the second bathroom, but you probably want it that way?
