The remaining space was initially marked as HA by the architect to the best of his knowledge. We then planned the use as a shoe and handbag room.

Additionally, I seem to have a creative Monday today and developed an alternative for larger children's rooms. Simultaneous use of the not-so-efficient traffic area in the hallway.

I quickly and dirty made 2 adjustments with my MS Paint skills. Additionally, I arranged the bathroom as I understood it with an inverted L, but as you can see, I swapped the washbasins with the bathtub.

Opinions?

Sorry, I don't like it anymore. The toilet is now very tight and uncomfortable. The huge shower wall is mainly just a wall at first. I prefer glass and open spaces more.

The toilet in the corner feels tighter, that is indeed a consequence.

Regarding the shower wall, one could build it only halfway up with masonry and then use glass from the halfway point upwards. That would remove the impression of a massive wall in the room and make it feel a bit more open, I think.

The material of the shower room will determine whether one wants to continue cleaning glass or plastic or not. A mixture harbors unnecessary corners where water and consequently limescale accumulate.
It does not matter whether there is a bathtub or washbasins on the other side.

My husband would go on strike at the distance one would have to cover to the toilet, at night, half-asleep....
