The floor plan is successful, and the room program is comfortable for two people. All rooms incl. the bathroom are large enough and functional. There may be a bit tight closet space in the living room. I would reconsider that with the glazing to see if a bit less would also work. But that is personal taste. Where should the floor hatch go? The clear separation between semi-public and truly private is good; the back is accessed by a corridor that not every stranger walks along right away. That’s how it should be. I find the decision to build on one level while still young wise and smart; you will love having everything on one level. In your case, I also see enough storage space due to the ample garage situation. If plastered, it must be white with light grey accents; if clinker-bricked, yellow with light grey or even blue. Bungalow for two doesn’t sound like children.

I basically find the floor plan successful. The only thing I find strange: - the dressing room has, in my opinion, the best chocolate spot - the children's rooms, if they were actually to be considered as such, are located in the north and far from the garden.

Sure? - I find that alignment very odd for that.

Regarding the draft drawing: I had feared it would be treated so neglectfully. However, that challenges the expert to attach a garage directly to a hip roof L-bungalow. The roof then becomes complex or, as can be seen in the picture, you take the easy way out.

How certain is it that no children will come, or will they? Because it seems you don't really need actual offices. If children are really planned, then I would seriously reconsider the location of these two rooms.

The 23.7 ... is supposed to denote the total vertical depth, so the 3 m, the building envelope, and the 2 m towards the south?
