.. I was also puzzled and actually looked for my mirroring suggestion .. but that was a different plan.
Mirroring the staircase is also an option here, because especially on the upper floor the ceiling height situation is not particularly successful.
I also think the situation in the living room .. a huge sofa in front of floor-to-ceiling windows looking into a dark living room area is not so great, and then opening the storage room in the living area. Also somewhat little sensible wardrobe space.
Therefore, on the ground floor the staircase mirrored, the utility room slightly enlarged downwards, guest bathroom wider but narrower, and a 120 cm wide wardrobe niche in the wall towards the kitchen. Next to it each time space for coat hooks and under the staircase a built-in shoe cabinet .. it will be more step-like then.
On the upper floor at the top of the plan (south?) the double casement window, below it another storage cabinet. At the bottom of the plan the corner simply separated, where perhaps a vacuum cleaner and some toilet paper stock or something can fit.
The walk-in closet with 250 cm ceiling-high wardrobe and 350 cm wardrobe at knee wall height, possibly some space can be created upwards towards the front. Only a very narrow window here.
To the sleeping area a sliding door, possibly also a real door, would have to be tested more precisely.
In the bathroom a really nice large shower, here again niches intended for storage.
Additionally, the staircase is not so much overlapped, so that a pleasant headroom will be maintained continuously.
