Does the outdoor unit of the air-to-water heat pump have to be within the building envelope? Or can the outdoor unit also be placed 1m in front of the boundary?

The neighbor would not really be affected, as there is a slight slope of about 1m between the properties.

What reason is there to plan a KfW40+ with a hydronic heating system instead of heating directly with electricity like infrared and only using a heat pump for the hot water?
Whether the fireplace will even be allowed to operate after 2026 is also questionable, since the fuel is fossil like oil.
