Perhaps the passage to the living room is a bit cramped. I often criticize the number of exits to the garden, and here as well: Why three(!) sliding doors so close together. What does that bring except revenue for the supplier? Otherwise, I agree with toxicmolotow, a lot of traffic area. With a basement, even more.

I don't see it that way and would doubt that. :P

It must be clear that a certain portion of the construction price will go into the architecture, which initially has no real benefit. Purely from the floor plan in the description, I somewhat miss the equivalent value. Any goodies. Ok stove, basement but otherwise?

The traffic areas also clearly caught my eye, especially when I see it at our house. Of course, ours is also designed very openly, but we have about 18 sqm of hallway over 3 floors... If you reduce from 3 lift-and-slide doors to just one, with the rest, for example, fixed glazing, that becomes a completely different house number with the window manufacturer... We still have a "normal" terrace door for "quick" access outside and a large lift-and-slide door; if the terrace door were fixed as well, that wouldn't be an issue either. And if you add a basement on top, that really becomes a huge place. I would have left that out and instead planned a nice large utility room on the ground floor; your garage isn't exactly stingy with square meters either. So parking space really shouldn't be a problem. In sum, you can definitely save a lot of money with your plans if you approach it cleverly.

*joking mode on* *furious red roar* and then you dare to ask for feedback here already? *joking mode off* Seriously: if you don't know an entire floor, or only know the stairway leading there, it makes constructive evaluations of the plans difficult. For me, burdening a floor with two stair footprint areas would require a very good reason. If the basement has no other requirements besides fitting a wellness room, that would be too weak for me.

If you associate corridors and traffic areas with aspiration and a feeling of life, I do not disagree with you. Otherwise, such areas should be reduced to an absolute minimum.

If you can save 20% of the total area, you also save 20% of the construction costs. I won't argue with you here about 1%+- or the site setup.
