We didn’t build that, it’s the semi-detached house that we bought as an existing property and moved out of in the summer into our new house :)

But we lived there for a good 7 years and I think there was only one time when the front door and the WC door clattered, when the little one was in the WC and came out just as dad was unlocking the front door when he came home from work :D otherwise it always worked and we loved the house..

See above, not our built house ;)

Seven years should have been more than enough to verify my suspicion of sound bridges - in any case, the OP should not build as shown in the drawing (we do have several threads on double/semi-detached house sound bridges here, although not my comprehensive linking service anymore).

Without having read everything, here is our experience. At 1.13 meters wide, even a urinal fits in comfortably. So 1 meter without a urinal should also work. But an outward-opening door is definitely better in case something happens.

but without a door like yours is probably even safer - right? :D Okay, admitted. There's not quite as much privacy. P.S. Very nice! Small but nice ;)

If you don’t get the door open quickly then, that "once in a lifetime" was the last second in life...

The emergency services need about 5-7 minutes. Until the door is broken down, another 2-3. Then only wilted vegetables remain "between the ears"...

Haha... after it turned out to not be such a hit odor-wise without a door and all the plants in the living room had died, we have now installed one after all
