Plan penthouse apartment layout differently

Actually, the option of having an office in the bedroom is not feasible, the wall was deliberately left. Besides work, I also play games on the PC in the evening.

My wife would also like to watch TV undisturbed sometimes or have visitors. Therefore, there should remain a proper separation.

That the bathroom door opens into the living room was probably my mistake. It could also remain as in the original guest WC, facing the south side or hallway.

We would like to have a large couch, which is why the idea was to make the room bigger. The guest WC can definitely be eliminated.

Hey thanks for the suggestion. If the northern wall of the gaming room can be moved upwards, that would be an option. Currently, that's about 3 square meters ... not even a small desk fits in there :-( My intention to change the floor plans was conveyed to the architect this morning. Let's see what comes back from that. I will get back to you with more info.

That would actually be an even better alternative, eating and living could still be swapped.

I'm curious what alternative the architect will come back with :)
