Theoretically, it is possible, I just don't know yet if you can manage the slope on the short corner all the way to the house, meaning if you approach the house coming from the left. I have sketched the road layouts again.

With so little information, it is hardly possible to help. I would rather prefer option 2, as there is a slight slope and the area for reinforcement (snow removal) is smaller.

I am just wondering why someone would build a house with an entrance and 3 steps directly in front of the doors? Not even with a landing in front of the entrance door. In my opinion, the ground should be filled up and the carport raised. Or at least a landing in front of the entrance.

Where is north?

With your carport location, that won’t work. The neighbor will show you how it can be done. If you move the carport, a pretty nice front view and direct access to the house from the carport is also possible. Is the neighbor’s garage already built? To look at this more precisely, you need the site plan from the building application with elevation information. Has the plan already been approved?

Here is the planning from the building application, as I said I am not doing anything more to the house because it is already standing and the location of the carport has more or less resulted from the fact that the inspection shaft is also located in the area of the carport (recognizable in my sketches by the circle in the area of the carport)

Icandoit the front door side is north. The neighbor's garage is already in place. The steps at the side entrance, etc., are initially only drawn by me because I am not yet sure how I will manage the heights.

If an 8 cm stone plus ~5 cm fine layer is placed on the current gravel area, I can just as well build up more with 0/32. Then there will also be fewer steps. That is correct.

Thank you for the plan.

I will stick with option 2.

A driveway like the neighbor's is relatively steep. I wouldn't want that. Since you have modeled the terrain at the boundary, you must accordingly found your carport deeply at the boundary and secure the slope (up to 1 m high retaining wall / foundation).

How did the neighbor secure the cut at the GSG?
