Can you do anything with the plan?

Show me the plan - are you sure this is not a misunderstanding?

Good morning, I have uploaded the plan. I will call there again today, it is really way too high. It’s getting annoying to have to measure every point myself and discuss everything with the architect... his argument for the high parapet: the windows in the kitchen and small bathroom should be at the same height. And because of the cistern in the bathroom, the parapet height... but there are other solutions, aren’t there?

That is also a plausible argument.

It is important to you to have the window height appropriate on the inside, others (and most architects) find it very important that everything is symmetrical from the outside.

The shell builder also asked us why the windows are at different heights without symmetry... for us it was important to have the windows always follow the staircase indoors and not have one at knee height and one at stomach height...

I also plan windows from the inside out and not the other way around – after all, I live INSIDE the house and not from the hut looking as good as possible from the outside ;) I actually find symmetry rather boring, interesting is different.

I love it when the countertop runs into the window – for my part also with a fixed glazed parapet element at the bottom if the faucet is to be placed in front of it. But you can also place the faucet on the side. Overdeep countertops are a luxury at a small price and not only generate additional storage space but also enable more comfortable working.

Unfortunately, I didn't get through to my wife about asymmetry. Otherwise, I would have planned my windows very individually. Then there would have been an island, too.
