You are persistent :) I was referring to this statement. I don’t stand with my back to guests because I prepare in ADVance. Otherwise, I get hectic. When cooking, I’m the chatterbox including chatterbox orientation towards the dining table.

.. I would consider having the sliding door access to the terrace, meaning the openable part, in the kitchen area. That way you can walk straight through from there and don’t have to snake around the table.

With the sliding door access, is right (not so with the infamous accusation that I wouldn’t clean up my mess). Seen like this, you could also slide the terrace door in the living room to the right... who knows if a nice retro yucca palm might end up in the top left corner.
