What did you base your choice on?; and: what is the house supposed to be built from anyway, 20 cm wall and 20 cm ETICS is already an unusual combination, obviously not bricks: sand-lime brick, aerated concrete or even concrete?

Chosen based on great reference projects. Also well-established due to the issue with the outdoor area... it is difficult to decide in advance. You end up working together for a long time. Walls are to be made of sand-lime brick. Insulation is not yet final, currently the energy consultant is working on it.

I told you - likeable. Only that the parents have to share the mini bathroom while the kids have the wellness oasis, I (selfishly) wouldn't find that so great. And the desk corner with open space (that's how I interpret it on the upper floor) is not suitable for hardcore home office (but it seems there is still a basement).

At least you are child-friendly ;) Can you still slide the window down at child 2's room to have a cupboard niche above?

And since your architect doesn't seem to know much about bathrooms: the bathroom above the kitchen should be carefully soundproofed (drain pipes etc).

Are those stairs outside to the entrance?

So the older one will still get two rooms with a bathroom in the basement, that's why the slope next to the bedroom and living room on the left. That's why we will probably stay with junior 2 on the upper floor and the ground floor will be office / home office. The desk on the upper floor is only an emergency office for me. The entrance is on ground level except for a small staircase.

.. I would consider having the sliding door access to the terrace, that is the part that can be opened, in the kitchen area. Then you can go straight through from there and don’t have to weave around the table.

With the sliding door access, is right (not, however, with the vile accusation that I wouldn’t clean up my mess). Seen that way, one could also slide the terrace door in the living room to the right... who knows if a nice retro yucca palm might not eventually find its place in the top left corner.

Me too...! With the same reasoning :) ... by the way, I prepare and chop next to the stove with the washed food towards guests, TV, or garden view :) The sink is then needed again when tidying up. Or my husband washes up in the meantime. But for me, it is strictly separated. I think everyone does it the way they like :)
