There is "one" drilled hole for the suspension that is out of line; it had to be enlarged due to unclear instructions regarding the WT mounting. People simply make mistakes

But as you rightly recognized, it cannot be seen later on. Therefore, and because I know what a tricky job that was for the tiler on the finished object: the guy can do it. The WT is, of course, now hanging.

Best regards from the Rhineland

We are building an architect-designed house and will have 2 bathrooms and a guest WC. When we saw the first offer, we also swallowed hard; for us, however, it is "a bit" more than €26,000, but still, I would never source the things myself and certainly not install or have them installed myself. What if after 2 weeks a crack appears in the very expensive sink? Then no one is to blame and no one is responsible... therefore, we bit the bullet, our plumber gets everything and installs it, and I have a warranty! Everything great.

And if after 2 weeks you already have a crack with him, he claims something fell into it. Also, on a smooth tiled wall, additionally with such a soundproofing in between and tightened with the specified torque. Where should the crack come from if there is no other impact...?

It's no big deal if one breaks, when the WT costs only a third for it.

The concealed parts under the shower and bathtub are a bit too delicate for me. I will have the plumber install those, I'll do the other parts myself. A concession on the price has already been signaled. Considering the overfull order books, though, a bargain is not to be expected.

Hi,

smart idea:

Even our own general contractor (better the sample coordinator) advised us to remove the sanitary fixtures, except for the bathtub and shower. He himself said, for the price those sanitary guys charge, you can drop three washbasins during installation and still be cheaper.

But seriously, a washbasin for €13,000? Is it made of gold or does it come with a virgin holy priestess who brushes your teeth in the morning???

Many greetings,

Andreas

Our washbasin (Duravit D-Code) cost 56 €... I did not find it for 20 €. It's unclear who you are building with....
