I also always find it crazy how much money you can sink into bathrooms. We are doing it like ypg (Ikea and countertop). All-in with bathroom and guest WC we stay under €4000. And we got about €3600 credited by the construction company for removing the sanitary fixtures in front of the wall.

Only the walk-in shower with concealed fittings will be done by professionals.

Subway 2.0 is definitely cheaper. And for furniture, there are alternatives to the originals from Villeroy & Boch.

Exactly, that's what I thought. Just thinking about the toilet paper holder. Keuco is really good, but also very expensive. With our 130 cm washbasin cabinet, we were lucky or patient until someone sold one on eBay, new and originally packaged for, I believe, 550 instead of over 1500 RRP or 900 internet price.

Our bathroom exhibitor made everything from the Edition 11 by Keuco really tempting for us - but when I saw the prices, I crossed that out at first. I had already mentioned it, but you can really buy such things better yourself and calmly check on classifieds/Ebay. That way we could still treat ourselves to the nice things...
