We had already considered widening the house by one meter to the left. If there is no error in reasoning, this would give us 9 sqm more each on the top and bottom. If half of that width could benefit the kitchen and the hallway, the option of a table in the kitchen would be more feasible and the tightness in the wardrobe would also be somewhat eased.
We find the rooms in the attic sufficiently large in terms of floor area, and the bathroom is more than generous. But due to the sloping ceilings, with a knee wall height of 1 m, the placement of the furniture is quite restricted.
A roof pitch of 25 degrees or a knee wall height of at least 1.40 m would provide significantly more space.
