: We also had a good impression of Beilharz Haus – however, we liked other designs significantly better – so in this case it was purely a matter of taste.

The rather long lead time at Weberhaus was not significantly different for us either. We were told about 15 months from contract signing to completion.

Weberhaus currently seems to be very busy, but the problem is not production, rather the selection process. Weberhaus places great value on the expertise of the equipment consultants – and the knowledge required for this cannot be conveyed in a short time.

What is Beilharz currently offering for the time from contract signing to completion?

Regarding El, I have to say that for 160sqm of living space, I wallpapered and painted all ceilings and walls with fleece wallpaper, everything in the mid-price range, so no cheap DIY store material. The costs including all tools were under 2k euros. Tiling is somewhat more expensive with materials.

Doc.Schaggls: According to Beilharz, approximately 9-10 months. There is also another local prefab house provider here ([Held Haus]). Their times are similar to those of Beilharz.

Actually until completion? They would be very fast... Mine was about 10 months between contract signing and start of construction (basement)...

Yes, that's what they said. The statement was: if we start construction at the beginning of the year, we can move in in late autumn (turnkey). Of course, I can't say if that's true. There are few Beilharz blogs on the internet, but in one there is a contract signing at the end of June 2012, move-in early April 2013.

So personally, I also think 20TEUR is a bit too high. But I don't have much experience with it either. However, since the floor coverings on the ground floor, except for 30 sqm living room and 11 sqm office, are already included in the price and we want to plaster the walls, I honestly don't think we'll reach 20TEUR. But of course, I could also be completely off.
