Experienced home builders wanted! Building? Renovating? Turnkey?

If you want to put yourself through that, then basically only a shell house or a complete self-build comes into question.

Your comment about the shell house sounds like you have some experience with it, or is it just a reference to the possibility? A shell house is actually (preferred over new self-build) our choice... But it also requires a lot of personal effort.

I would appreciate more opinions!

now some of my experiences,

our shell house was erected two weeks ago.
The walls on the ground floor are paneled on one side, on the upper floor we have to build the walls ourselves. Exterior walls are "finished" including insulation.

I had been thinking beforehand whether we had taken on too much of the work ourselves, but with a few friends it works quite well.

Current construction progress:

Drywall on wall and ceiling finished
Electrical work in the ground floor completed, attic prepared
Water/sewage 30% finished
Heating 30% finished

and all this without taking any vacation

My advantage is that as a construction helper I mainly have skilled workers.

Would you also reveal the house type/ the manufacturer? Because you seem to have considerable knowledge about the subject through your profession and can surely say whether it is a good concept with decent materials.
What insulation standard did you choose: low-energy, passive?

It is a valuable thing to be able to involve relatives, friends, and colleagues. Of course, not to wear them out, but as support... Thanks to the technical school, I also have some friends (including myself) who understand the trades and the work.

I simply find it very difficult to assess how much work such an expansion actually takes. It is a dive into the cold water anyway, but the good tips so far are helpful for the assessment!

So, give me more ;)

it is a Harmony 230.2 self-build house from Weberhaus.
My actual profession is automotive service technician, so not really helpful.

However, I can call the site manager from WeberHaus day and night with stupid questions,
I also get tools from Weberhaus.

The most important thing, as already said, is good friends. I have to schedule them so that no more than 2 help per day.

The costs for a passive house are approximately 2432 €/ per m² according to IG Passive House. However, it is the Passive House Association that assumes only 8-14% additional costs. The pure construction costs are indicated according to ILS NRW on average until 2005 as follows:
