PDFs are unfortunately not visible to many, at least not without effort. JPGs are better in that regard. I personally can only view a PDF for a short time, but cannot access it here...

Now the initial drafts as JPG. I would additionally, besides the points already mentioned in my original post, push the garage back to the building line. This might loosen up the hose-like passage and the kitchen would get even more visibility/light.

The approach of planning without windows and only adding them later strikes me as strange. Much depends on the windows both inside and outside.

Well then:
A distance of 1.50 in the kitchen is too large, the cabinets of the "island" are too shallow. Go to 90 cm, then you have a good 1.20 and the cook has it easier.
I would omit the half-high wall, a corner bench may also stand free. Later you are freer in seat choice – in terms of appearance, to say nothing.
The double door is awkwardly offset from the bay window, that will be noticed negatively.
I miss a wardrobe – the available space is barely enough for 2 people.
The terrace is more suitable in the cooking and dining area.

Brief regards

Thank you for the feedback.

Regarding the approach without windows:
Due to boundary distances; location of the neighbor's garage to the west, we first had to choose between 3 fundamentally different floor plan proposals. We decided on the preliminary floor plan posted here. Now the detailed planning follows, so I thought I’d ask now to possibly incorporate initial feedback right away.

Yes, we will probably omit the wall at the corner bench, I agree with that.

I tend to leave out the door from the hall to the kitchen. That gives us space in the kitchen for a large corner cabinet and space in the hall for a coat rack, cabinet, etc.

Where do you think the patio door would fit best then?
The exit should be by the terrace, but there probably won’t be any space in the bay window, right?

Well, Yvonne has already said the most important things. This is just a preliminary draft from you. When you come back with the architect's plan, there will certainly be more precise tips.

Did I miss something? Who is planning three designs for you to choose from?

The architect’s task is to place the terrace close to the kitchen :)

Best regards in brief
