Thanks, yes :)

6 meters should be wide enough for two cars
Therefore driveway from the front and enough access area at the top of the plan!

the comments are absolutely justified and thanks
regarding the two staircases: when the architect proposed it I thought the idea was really good and I actually still like it even though we are wasting a lot of space.
regarding the children's rooms: they will get their bed under the roof (loft bed) in the niche so only a desk or something similar is needed.
regarding the sauna: thanks for the tip. It is supposed to be a dry sauna (Finnish) and I told the architect I don't want one where I can only sit because otherwise it quickly loses its appeal.

the recess in front of the garage door can be used as a parking bay since it is away from the traffic area.

In general
I actually want a strict separation from the entrance area to the rest of the living space.
Under the stairs to the attic, a masonry heater with a panorama glass window is to be installed. This somewhat offsets the large space in the hallway.

Should I independently from this design go to another architect with our wishes and ideas or directly contact a general contractor and have it newly planned from scratch?

A BU initially does the work "for free," but much less thoroughly than an architect. Another architect costs money, but could bring new impulses. Maybe it would also be an idea to try doing some drawing yourself. The proportions for individual components (stairs, kitchen, bathroom, etc.) can be easily taken from the current drawings, printed out, and then moved around on a new piece of paper at the same scale to try drawing. An architect can give ideas, but the finishing touches you have to do yourself or be satisfied with what you have.

In the end, there is always something to complain about from someone. Every decision has advantages and disadvantages. We can share our opinions with you, but whether you implement them or not is your choice.

Visiting a BU is certainly not a bad idea. Since you have a plot of land, they will definitely help you move forward and bring in new ideas. It also doesn’t hurt to visit various show homes.

I also find the floor plan in need of improvement. In my opinion, the kitchen is planned far too small, offers hardly any storage space, and few possibilities for comfortable features like a raised dishwasher and oven. Here perhaps already a parallel plan.

One should have experienced an open staircase in the living area live. We had it for the last seven years; in our new building, we consciously did it differently. It certainly looks spacious - no question - but the disadvantages like noise transmission, etc., should be considered.
