Well, eaten away or rotten, I would replace them either way. It makes no sense to leave it as it is now and then sit on a ticking bomb. Or is the carpenter absolutely sure that nothing else will come up and it won't get worse? Does "interior" also include doors, plaster, etc.?

I still advise thoroughly questioning the necessities beforehand. What is truly necessary, what is not. I see it especially with friends, where estimates ranged from "you can tear it down" to "you can refurbish it for around 50,000".

Caution, the following are gathered experience values from the forum. Roof 30-40. Electrical 20, heating 15-20, plumbing 10-15 per bathroom, facade 20 fits, 85 for the interior finishing is way too high. Installing underfloor heating and screed 10, I don’t know where the remaining 70 inside should go. Water pipes still 5-10, windows 15-20.

Roof 80,000 ??? That seems way too much to me.

Yes, you should only look for planners and consultants who have actually worked with old buildings. A general structural engineer hyperventilates when calculating old buildings and usually recommends the total and expensive overkill of reinforcement measures. Energy consultants or construction companies, on the other hand, gladly recommend insulation measures that are not compatible with the building fabric. You have to be very careful and end up paying the price for learning.

I do think it is quite plausible that the prices from before Corona no longer apply. But the prices mentioned here sound like astronomical prices. Because someone has sensed that you can pay it. That is just a suspicion. But it is conceivable. 80,000 for a roof is horrendous. The rest is also extremely expensive. Definitely obtain comparative offers. And never let the true budget show through.
