I have now received an offer from another BU:
Instead of 17.5cm aerated concrete, this one uses a porous clay brick with the same 17.5cm – otherwise, the wall construction is the same. It comes standard with underfloor heating, triple glazing (ug=0.7), and a thermal solar system installed. KFW70 is guaranteed – without any additional payment! Strip foundations are poured up to 20cm above terrain and 10cm of gravel or sand is laid under the base plate. Is this usual and sensible?
In the first offer, the underfloor heating costs almost 7,500€ extra, and KFW70 including solar almost 8,000€ more. Here, the foundation only has a 5cm clean layer of lean concrete. The two BUs don’t differ much in the offered final price; the first offer includes more sockets and higher/more expensive tiles, but only double glazing Ug=1.1 there.
What do you think of the two offers?
