Often noticed during inspection drives, when measuring the neighbor, Google Earth, etc. I believe in RLP you always have to pay. For our new building, it was about 1,400 EUR.

I always wonder with such questions why people don’t simply respond to the message and ask. The contact was even explicitly requested (to confirm the appointment, which is already nice, because they can come whenever they want...). Once it is clear why they are coming, one can also ask if it costs anything and how much, or determine that later in the fee schedule itself.

that is indeed unfortunate, but does not need to be mentioned constantly

Hello , that's a pity.

In the meantime, I have learned from the neighborhood that a new survey also took place there a few days ago. The fee notice amounted to about 100 euros. I couldn't find out if there were any other owners involved. 100€ would still be manageable. Nevertheless, it is a mystery to me why, how, and what for? The other statements do rather relate to new buildings. In those cases, the situation is clear. And inspection drives, neighbors, or Google Earth are purely speculative.

It would be nice if someone else could be found who experienced something similar with an older existing building and how it ultimately turned out?

Hello , I can confirm the appointment either online via a portal or by phone. I do not receive any further information. Everything would be written on the information sheet. This, however, is worthless to me as all the information only refers to new buildings.

I have concerns about the garage. If it then has to be registered, additional costs will probably arise? As I said, at that time we did not apply for permission to set up the garage. I only asked the building authority if we needed a permit, which was denied.

call, ask, instead of searching for a crystal ball.

But the letter already came from the official authority?
100 euros, and neighbors also received it, sounds almost like a typical scam amount.
