Hey, a photo would be great. We always stand on our property and it already feels very, very small, even though it is 704sqm. Does anyone have an idea if and how I could remove part of the wall so that I get more property?

And does anyone know anything about my question mentioned above?

Hello,

First of all, the question arises as to why you bought first and then looked?

Furthermore, your question cannot be answered as it stands, since the entire development plan would have to be known. Only this: as a rule, it is - as also noted in your upload - minimum specifications. But why don’t you contact your seller and ask him your question? To verify his answer - in case you are unsure whether you can trust it - you can contact the building planning office. After all, the development measure was approved by them.

Rhenish regards

Hello,

I did not measure the exact property dimensions in advance, as I trust the surveyor or have relied on the information in the development plan.

Of course, I will contact the seller. I always find it nice to have a bit of background knowledge ... he is naturally at an advantage since I am by far not as knowledgeable about the subject ...

One could possibly narrow such an earth embankment using large L-shaped stones. Compatibility with the development plan and verification of the general feasibility assumed.

Hello,

Even if this now sounds contradictory – you mostly find information here from laypersons like yourself; the posts often rely on the individual's gut feeling and are therefore often not more accurate.

The surveyor measures your property and draws in – depending on the assignment – all relevant information such as, for example, canal heights or – as in your case – the protective embankment. It is not his task to verify whether the existing measurement data correspond to the letters of the approved development plan. He transfers the status quo onto paper.

Get in touch with the development agency and the municipality. Only when you have statements on the matter from both places can "we" try to explore the truthfulness.

Rhenish regards

That’s how it is: we all make the same mistakes - and afterwards you read in the forum how you should have done it

For example, we also didn’t measure again and just trusted it. Fortunately, everything is correct.
For the house, I measured everything again because I really thought back then that they had stolen a meter from us, but I was mistaken from memory

I have sent you pictures!

How will the embankment be greened? By you? At least you have privacy screening. Someone without an embankment has to plant a hedge, which also costs one square meter of depth
If you green the embankment nicely, the rest will follow your wishes – so I would avoid these ugly slope retainers if possible (unless they fit the house).
