We bought a Scan 85 in white last summer. Due to the move, we only put the stove into operation for the first time in December. After the first firing, the paint peeled off all over the outside of the stove. We immediately complained to the dealer. He forwarded it to the manufacturer, and they responded without asking any questions that we would receive a new stove, so the problem seems to be known. Unfortunately, we have still not received a replacement, that was 2.5 months ago now. Understandably, we are totally angry and would advise against buying a Scan stove at any time! That possibly a production step was forgotten or the wrong paint was used doesn’t even bother me, but the way customers are treated afterwards – total ignorance – that does!
