If you are hoping for a dialogue here – and I have assumed that so far – you should respond less cryptically. I don’t see anything about cars in this thread...!

The risk of a warning from manufacturers is huge. Apparently, there are some who mercilessly make every commenter pay. And when manufacturers' names are mentioned, I am three times as careful....

That may be; so far, lawyers only like to offer their services here in the moderated forum. Otherwise, and as long as it is formulated factually and no "hearsay" is written down, the manufacturers/providers appreciate the exchange. See for example Grohe® or also Allkauf®

What really happens every day in Germany? A good example is a restaurant visit – food, atmosphere, waitress or whatever, was not as expected; the customer is frustrated. However, he is unlikely to address it openly in the restaurant – which would be more productive for both sides, he pays and does not return to the restaurant. Unsatisfactory for both sides; just like the often following mechanism of anonymously leaving a negative review on gastronomy portals.

Here the opportunity arises to report negatively as well, but we invite the criticized parties – unlike on every comparison portal – to engage with the criticism. The aforementioned providers accept this offer because it gives them the opportunity to enter into dialogue; customer care at its best. This creates a win-win situation for both sides.

As soon as I can block some time in the next few weeks, I will write to more suppliers and explain the opportunities that arise from anonymous criticism.

We bought a Scan 85 in white last summer. Due to the move, we only put the stove into operation for the first time in December. After the first firing, the paint peeled off all over the outside of the stove. We immediately complained to the dealer. He forwarded it to the manufacturer, and they responded without asking any questions that we would receive a new stove, so the problem seems to be known. Unfortunately, we have still not received a replacement, that was 2.5 months ago now. Understandably, we are totally angry and would advise against buying a Scan stove at any time! That possibly a production step was forgotten or the wrong paint was used doesn’t even bother me, but the way customers are treated afterwards – total ignorance – that does!
