Nexus wall cabinets black brown

Hello everyone!

We want to combine wall cabinets in Nexus black-brown in 60x92, 60x70, and 60x120 with sliding doors. According to the Ikea kitchen catalog, all these sizes are available. However, online only 50x92 is available. How can I find out if these sizes really exist and if they are available in my IKEA? Email to IKEA was useless.

Hi,

Nexus schwarzbraun is a front that is not available in all houses. You can tell by the fact that in the kitchen catalog in the front overview, a small van is shown. Of course, it comes in all the sizes you need, but probably not permanently in your house. However, you can order it on site. It does take quite a while, though. If it gets really bad, you can plan for 4-6 weeks.

So don't worry, just be a little patient. ;)

Thank you for the reply. IKEA itself could have answered me by email. It always just said "available" and "is in stock at IKEA Regensburg," but without telling me how I can be sure that it will be in stock on the day I go and that I am not traveling for nothing. However, I probably cannot check anything online, can I? Thank you for the help!

I just took a look. Very strange that, no matter which Ikea, you can always only select those few fronts. There could be several reasons for this. On the one hand, a simple software error. Or also that the front is being discontinued. Basically, that would be annoying, but not so bad, since the fronts would still be orderable from Sweden.

I’ll make you a proposal. I’ll look into it on Monday. If it really is just a computer problem, I’ll check whether your required fronts are in stock in Regensburg. For that, I’ll need the exact sizes and the respective quantities again. If it really is the case that the front is discontinued, I’ll let you know, so at least you know where you stand and can have them ordered from Sweden.

I checked in this afternoon and in Regensburg all fronts were in stock. Not in large quantities, but always at least 2-3 pieces.

I finally received an email from IKEA stating that it is indeed a software error that will be fixed with the next online update. That only cost me two trips to IKEA because I actually wanted to order the items online, well.

One more question: Do you have any idea how my husband could mount the wall cabinets with a small distance from the wall for ventilation purposes?
