The hallway between the children's rooms just ruins everything on the upper floor. You have a huge window by the stairs, so why squeeze in this tiny window and the useless corridor? If there isn't enough daylight, then use a ceiling spot.

Or it contributes to enhancing the flair of the converted Gründerzeit villa – just like the toilet located on the way there probably is meant to remind one of such a "halfway up the stairs" toilet. However, my question remains unanswered as to why one aims for this renovation style. Incidentally, casement windows would also belong there, preferably with funnel reveals. And in the kitchen a visible steel beam support and so on. Terrazzo in the bathroom... I am starting to rave.

There are definitely many people who don’t mind walking around half-naked in front of others, but I’m not one of them, and sneaking secretly through the hallway isn’t so great either. I just wanted to point out that many people with or without small children don’t yet think about how it will be later with teenagers.
