Hello Tagtraum85,

personally, I like the plans overall quite a bit, especially because of the beautiful bay window.

Well, the bay window doesn’t have any special use, but it looks chic and gives the otherwise rather straightforward building shape that certain something, but it also costs money...

I would reconsider the width of the garage door – I personally find 2.26m a bit narrow – with some modern cars, that could be really tight when the side mirrors are folded out.

On the ground floor, if I were you, I would think about whether the doors between the hallway and living/dining area or hallway and kitchen are really necessary, or if an open passage might be better in each case. We consciously decided against these two doors.

I also don’t find the bathroom optimal yet. Is your shower enclosure made of masonry? That takes away a lot of light from the sinks – only the lighting from the opposite window will always create shadows in the mirror.

Regards,

Dirk

So I basically like the ground floor. But I miss a closed storage option. Where are the cleaning supplies? In my opinion, the furniture in the kitchen is too little. Without a pantry, supplies also have to be stored. Better to cancel the table. We currently get all supplies from the basement and the vacuum cleaner is basically in the way in the dining room. We are glad when this is over soon. If you already have this questionable corner in the living room, then it should be because you have a view or can look outside. Then also swap the couch and TV place. Upstairs, the bedroom has an infinite amount of space that no one needs, and the children have no opportunity to play or store toys. This is clearly shown in the depicted furnishing.

Food for thought: Maybe consider placing the fireplace on the exterior wall (next to the bay window) Otherwise, it might eventually get annoying always having to walk around the fireplace when you want to go directly into the living room. In the bay window, you could then put a fireplace chair ;) Oh... can’t do it... the fireplace would then be on the low side of the roof...
