I find 2 children's rooms, where the child has to cross the hallway every time to change rooms, impractical. It's nice that you want to give your child so much space. But what should they do with over 30m²? I also don't think two rooms are necessary. Just cut something off there, then you'll have your storage room back.

We do not want to start everything from scratch again, as we already like the floor plan. Of course, one always has to expect some compromises. The perfect house does not exist. At least not if you have to keep an eye on the dear money. I just wanted to make a few small changes here and there, if sensible. The long straight living area was deliberately chosen and is to remain as it is. The straight staircase as well. Regarding the children's rooms, we would also plan to include a sliding door connecting the two rooms. Going through the hallway would, of course, make little sense.

A separate playroom is something. Our daughter ended up with one involuntarily as well. But here it is 30 sqm more than many houses where 2 children live. You could easily fit 5 there.

A straight open space, why not, but not 4 meters wide, way too narrow. I can't quite imagine the terrace with the side walls. I'm sitting at my table right now and every time the view goes outside, it hits the wall.

Why a straight staircase? It is not a design object here and it ruins quite a bit on the ground floor. Have you ever tried turning it 90 degrees or integrating it into the open space and then making it wider?

Your house is big for 3 people and still creates a sense of tightness.

Not only on the walls. Above it should be a flat roof. Through the beautiful panoramic window, not even light falls in, let alone can one look at the sky.

We have been thinking it over again for the last 3 months and have now come up with this draft. The house will be somewhat smaller with about 175m² instead of 190m², as the budget would have been a bit tight. Only the transom windows on the north side will be removed (privacy screen to the neighbor), and the window in the kitchen will be three-part with 2.50m x 1.00m. This is how the plan will then be submitted to the municipality. I am happy to receive further suggestions or discussions.

My points:
- Door to the utility room. Does the door under the stairs really work?
- Pantry is a narrow corridor and with the corner at the end almost a labyrinth.
- Why 2 doors to the garage? I would remove the door from the cloakroom and use the entire space for the cloakroom. You have a small canopy in front of the front door anyway and won't get wet there. Are you aware of the 15 cm step into the garage?
- The master bedroom is very narrow at 3.2 m. There is only about 55 cm left on each side. If you get up too quickly, your head will quickly hit the wall.
