The pipeline routes for wastewater are also nice (bathroom upstairs through the bedroom, etc.)

The sound of running water for falling asleep is supposed to be calming

Yes, there are still several points in the draft that do not indicate an experienced planner. But all that can still be thoroughly scrutinized; I understand the presented draft status as an illustration of what kind of building it is supposed to be in general. In that respect, I do not take every detail at face value or as the last word, otherwise the hobby room would be accessible through a window. At least now we have an idea of how it is supposed to be roughly, and the thought processes have also become more comprehensible (although I consider large parts of them to be misconceptions or wrong paths).

Hello everyone,

well, now the thread is picking up a bit. That makes me happy.
I’ll try to address the main points:

I spoke with an architect today who also doesn’t know the system but at first glance can’t see any disadvantages. It’s just strange why this construction method hasn’t established itself on the market. That also makes me think. I’m not nailed down to the system. I’m looking for the optimal solution.

I have nothing against wood. GreMagor is currently preparing an offer.

There is no development plan. P34. I know there are gable roofs all around.

The plot allows for much more. Unfortunately, there is a notarial building restriction by the previous owners. In 14 years, it would be possible to build again in the south.

Living in the attic because there are very tall houses to the west. I don’t want to sit in the shade in the afternoon after work. And basically, I’m not really a garden type.

The point about the toilet is really a point. I have adjusted the plans accordingly. 1m offset, then unfortunately another offset due to the recessed [DG]. The noise is then in the bedroom. That’s right. But this won’t happen to us that often since we go to bed together.

The hobby room has a balcony door so you can step outside.

Please feel free to continue giving factual criticism. That always moves me forward a bit.

Ps: I am currently working in Beijing. Returning in the middle of next year. Then it should start… hopefully… we don’t have a fixed schedule…

Best regards, Alex

That is not good, if you want to build in Hornbach style :-(

The seller lives next door and I assume he does not want the view built over while alive

I see none (?)

Once you are inside – but how do you get in?

That has already been explained: these are DIY systems. Stones used by professional contractors have better chances; and best of all is aerated concrete, which both contractors and DIYers process.

Hornbach style?

I should better remove my name from the plans. I will submit them later.

Hobby room: stairwell, door to the garage, passage to the hobby room.

So Ytong with stiffening reinforced concrete wall panels...
