Hello,
I have the stove sink combo from VÄRDE 08-86-4930

next to it a drawer, then the refrigerator, and on top a countertop.

Now moving to a bigger apartment and also a bigger kitchen.
The room dimensions are 330x260.

For me, the question now is:
Take existing kitchen elements with me, buy new parts, kitchen island and/or wall cabinets (costs round about 500 euros) or buy a completely new kitchen?

Against Värde speaks unfortunately the fact that until now I have not seen a reasonable solution to integrate a washing machine and/or dryer under this series.

For Värde speaks of course the price and the existing elements.

Hello,

You could each install the washing machine and dryer under a dishwasher conversion cabinet, unfortunately, you would have to buy them used since Ikea no longer sells them. Otherwise, you could buy two Värde countertops and use one as the top cover and cut two side panels from the other so that the washing machine and dryer can be slid in between. These side panels are often seen in furniture catalogs. Or you could buy just one countertop and make a conversion from the side panels of an old cabinet that you might be able to get cheaply. You would probably need to reinforce both options with braces as a back panel. I hope I have expressed my ideas clearly. Best regards

Unfortunately, no kitchen offers a ready-made solution to integrate a washing machine or dryer. You have to tinker with it yourself. The minimal solution would be a countertop with UTBY legs and place the washing machine and dryer underneath, maybe a curtain in front to hide the appliances. You can also screw a frame to the countertop to mount rails for a sliding door solution, then you could put matching fronts in front of the appliances. Another completely different option is to stack the washing machine and dryer, build a tall cabinet around them, and then equip it with doors or, for example, a shutter. Best regards Nordkäppchen

It would be nice if the washing machine and dryer were stored with doors.

The solution with the worktop and then cutting it to size has also occurred to me. But how do I solve the whole thing with the DOORS? Take Faktum doors? As far as I know, they have a maximum width of 60 cm.. so probably take two pieces? Then I would need a brace to the floor in the middle, otherwise the doors wouldn't close properly...

Hmm, I can hardly imagine how the whole thing with the doors and especially the plinths with Värde will look :)

I am already looking for sink cabinets... eBay is really very poor at the moment :)

Do you possibly know how I can raise Värde? Just screw on feet? Or, put differently, can I also replace the top of my existing stove and sink with wood?

To attach doors, you would need a carcass, at least one side to attach the doors to. You will have to do a lot of tinkering. However, I suspect the washing machine will not fit in depth, as it needs a bit more space at the back because of the hoses. I don't know your washing machine; how does it behave when spinning? I hope it doesn't vibrate the dishes out of the cabinets when spinning.

Best regards

thank you for the info. I hadn’t considered that the washing machine and dishwasher might get in each other’s way... hmm. the washing machine is only 56 cm deep. hmm, what other options would I have?
