Yes, an east entrance would also be possible, but I haven't found any well-fitting floor plans yet, as so much is lost this way.

I like your basic idea regarding the location and would also access the house from the north (entrance). I remember a house variant that is similar but narrower and with a spiral staircase. The utility room would be instead of the office. With Viebrockhaus, I would give the office 50cm more width. What do you think, couldn’t you arrange it so that the kitchen is rather at the back and the living room at the front? In the evening, one is more in tune with the terrace when in the kitchen...?
Hi, more width at the expense of the office would be an option, I will discuss that. Swapping kitchen and living room wouldn’t have occurred to me... what do you mean by „in tune“? Since it’s not an open-plan kitchen, I would be in the living room in the evening rather than in the kitchen.

Google again for narrow plots or narrow houses... the Viebrockhaus variant is not the worst
