What do the neighbors want to do besides complain? Children just belong. Except, of course, for those who were born old and stiff. And yes, I also sometimes tell my children not to be too loud when the old neighbors might be taking their nap.

Life isn’t quite as relaxed when every loud scream of the children makes you think, oh no, the neighbors will be standing at the fence complaining again. But if there are many children there, it shouldn’t be a problem. Some townhouse neighborhoods are practically retirement communities whose children were "neeeever!" loud. ;)

Well, but then that's a problem with one's own attitude. If my neighbors complained about the volume of my children (which I keep in check because I don't like senseless noise myself), I would cough at them so clearly that they wouldn't do it anymore. Everyone is allowed to let their yapping dog bark around in the garden, but if the children make a peep... then I get really mad quickly. But on the topic: The house doesn't sound bad at all. The standard land value would be interesting for classifying the price. I wouldn't waste a second worrying about the energy rating. 1989 is already well insulated; with a new heating system and photovoltaics you're very well positioned there. Is there an aerial photo of the house/plot? If you can't get into the garden from the back at all, that would be tricky. Although with that size, a digger isn't necessarily needed; that also works manually with strong arms and a few helpers. How big is the terrace / potential garden? Everything can be undone, that's no problem. Is there enough space for a usable terrace and still a piece of lawn for trampolining / paddling pool?

I don't think I'm allowed to post pictures here. But I think it will be difficult to get an excavator in there. What I can imagine, though, is that maybe a machine/device and the soil could be brought into the garden over the house with a crane. This is just something that came to mind. The standard land value is 370 euros. I just checked. I think I could get used to the space. I don’t need a huge plot, and since I would still have some financial leeway, I could tear down the terrace and maybe renovate a bathroom or something. We'll have to see.

You may only post images that you own the copyright to. Where is the house located? Do you have an ID for the portal where the exposé can be viewed? Without anything, nothing can be said. Regarding the year of construction: it could be that they are all around 60 years old, assuming many people buy something when they are around 30. Then the residents who still live there are retirement visionaries ;)

Judging by the standard land value, the price is probably reasonable; as expected, it’s not a bargain. The idea of bringing equipment into the garden by crane is complete nonsense; nobody does that. It’s less about the equipment— with a mini excavator, you could theoretically even drive through the house— and more about the material. Transporting cubic meters of soil/gravel/wood through the house is no fun. I still can’t quite imagine the situation; there’s always some kind of way out the back, maybe via a neighboring plot. I meant a picture from, for example, Google Maps; that should be allowed here and should also be permitted. The property ID would of course be much more informative.
