Thank you, that really looks very nice. I really like it. I always think these walls like Tylco or Mycs probably have the most impressive effect on the large surface area. I wonder if it will come into its own in my small bathroom niche? I also looked up the tip with Metod again, that might not be a bad solution after all. With two 60ers and a 3er I would also get 150 cm, which fits almost exactly. We also considered whether to go in the direction of the Besta system, but then only have a 120 cm dresser and put the laundry basket next to it. 120x60 is still decent, for the towels we would simply sort out the old ones, sooner or later we would want a new set anyway. But that would be the minimum storage space if we reduce some bathroom belongings. I would find a 120x40 Besta visually almost even nicer, you could put an attractive top plate over it and still have room for feet, but that is definitely too little storage space.

Be careful with the measurements for the Ikea stuff, it's best to measure again in the store.

I had a 3.20m niche built in the dressing room for two 1.60m wide Malm dressers, only to find out that the dressers are 1.604 and the top panels are 1.608 wide

The Korpi (or Korpusse?) went in with a bit of persuasion but I had to replace the top panels with a worktop.

Crazy, how annoying! Yes, you have to be careful, we had the same with Nordli, they are also slightly wider than stated and didn't quite fit into our niche. They have now been repurposed as a coat rack bench, works well too.

Hehe... I didn't even know about your initial post with the furnished bathroom. It already looks quite lived-in. Regarding Besta: I happened to just order a leg frame for two 60/64 units, on which you can place two cabinets side by side ;) I'm happy to share the address. I don’t understand your problem with the towels: invest a hundred once and you have 2-3 bath towels and 6-8 hand towels and four washcloths in ONE color, so that they make a neat overall impression even when they're out in the open. And where do they fit best or what in the bathroom is meant for that? Of course, the pedestals. Stacked or rolled fluffy towels are the best bathroom accessory ever for the interior... only then does it look (according to Pinterest :p) furnished ;) Edit: By the way, I find your Kallax completely fine there. White makes it a bit friendlier in the dark corner. The mycs modules would only be a replacement, but nothing else,

I have now decided - attracted by a discount code - on a shelf from Tylco for the niche. Instead of the Kallax that is there (which is so old that it is still called Expedit). What mainly bothers me is the dark color in the otherwise rather bright bathroom (except for the brown washbasin cabinet). And that it looks relatively worn and scratched up close. The Tylco thing has the advantage that a) it is not minimally too high like the Kallax, but even a few centimeters lower than the wall, so it ends below the slope. I find that visually more appealing. Also, it is only 32 deep instead of 40, so it does not stick out on the side either. You don’t see that in detail in the initial post, but visually it bothers a little. The Kallax is simply just a bit too high and too deep, but also just a bit too short in width. The new Tylco shelf looks similar, but should fit better as it fits exactly in height, width, and depth into the niche. We are very curious; it is supposed to arrive in May.

I agree with you; I would like decorative, openly displayed towels that make it cozy. However, I haven't been able to decide on a manufacturer for half a year. I keep ending up with Vossen / Möve, but they are too expensive for me then. Then I end up at Erwin Müller, but I can’t find a towel there that I like visually AS MUCH as the more expensive ones. Now I have discovered some at Depot that I find visually very nice, but there are no reviews, and I don’t know if they are any good. Something like that would be easier to shop for locally if the stores were open again. Buying towels with Corona somehow turns out to be difficult.

Oh, I can totally understand that.
You can find Vossen and Möve occasionally on Ventee, currently even Vossen. The deal started this morning, maybe you can still grab some nice ones. I bought them there back before the move and now have the towels in the shower toilet, still nice.
In the end, last year I bought the cozy fluffy towels at Möbel Kraft with the vouchers (30€ cashback on 90€ purchase).
