I have had a lowboard from MYCS for 2 weeks now and I am semi-satisfied. Delivery time was 2 months longer than stated and I also have some doubts about the durability of the matte black finish, time will tell.
The thing is sturdy and the assembly goes quickly once you understand the principle. What annoys me a bit is that there is no continuous top panel, I didn’t see that in the configurator.

Ah yes, thanks for your assessment! I had also looked at similar lowboards from them for the living room, but in the end we decided quite differently. I had seen those gap dimensions on the doors in photos back then and that put me off. If you can adjust them, though, that is something else.
If you can come to terms with 140cm, then Metod from Ikea. If you also work with side panels, you have something stable for under 300 euros with dozens of fronts, etc.
On top of that, you have a plate cut to the desired width at Bauhaus, and you can also cut a door on the side.
Thank you, I had already looked there once, but thought (from the photos) that the quality wouldn’t be good. Have you ever seen any of them live?
We were in the shop in Düsseldorf to check the quality and bought a bookcase about 4 x 3m and quickly assembled it – I haven’t gotten around to adjusting the doors since... like so often, didn’t finish it. Processing, paint quality, and the system work. Only the drawers are very small behind the front and the ladder is not matched to the system width. Here is a close-up photo of our shelf.
