Ikea Kallax - maximum load capacity

That may be true, but production pricing is still planned according to a specific purpose. Therefore, I find it "strange" to get upset about that.

I'm only upset because Kallax is not an inexpensive product. As you can see, even a kitchen cabinet is more stable.

What about Besta?

Unfortunately, I only have a maximum of 76-77 cm in width.

Unfortunately, I do not have space for a circular saw.

Besta is available in 60 cm width.

I don’t really understand what this is supposed to be about – what is the finished piece supposed to look like? Hanging on the wall? I also find only 13 kg load per shelf for Kallax.

If you want to cut Metod boards, you can gladly come to me – I have the saw for that. But the holes for the connectors etc. will also have to be redone .....

I would build a "composite construction." Cut a sturdy shelf board to size (have it cut) – for example from multiplex plywood. It can also be thin (9 or 12mm) and be glued over the entire surface with the "microwave board."

The shelf is supposed to stand on the floor, with the microwave on top. On some KALLAX page, it says 20 kg maximum load as a wall cabinet.

Couldn’t you use brackets there and then additionally take a KALLAX-like cross for stabilization?

If the thing is standing on the floor, then put a board on it so the feet can't press through the surface and done.
