But there are also TVs and suitable HDMI cables that support ARC (Audio Return Channel). This saves you from having to use the optical cable!
Thank you , I didn't know that either. However, I think the OP is even more of an "oldschooler" than I am [emoji12] I need to see if my TV can do that.
