I find the solution with the Y-adapter and hose clamps perfect. 90% of kitchens do not need the second connection, I can understand that Ikea has saved this. This additional solution for customers who explicitly ask for it is a nice thing, if it is free of charge.
However, I want to put into perspective the false information that dishwashers and washing machines should not be operated at the same time. Even if both appliances reach the end of their program simultaneously and both pumps drain, the siphon cannot be overloaded. The horizontal outlet has a much larger diameter and the narrow point at the Y-adapter is very short, so no backflow can occur. In addition, it is an upward-ventilated siphon. Technically, this is not a problem and no device will be damaged, the only disadvantage is that you can hear some "gurgling" from the siphon area. Although I estimate the probability of simultaneous draining of dishwasher and washing machine to be significantly less than once a month.
I myself have connected a washing machine and dishwasher of a basement apartment to a small lifting station, where even more back pressure occurs (because such a system is not vented along the pipe), and there is no problem there either.
What is important is that the two wastewater hoses from the dishwasher and washing machine come from above, although with the connection point of the Lillviken siphon, you can hardly install this Y-adapter the wrong way around anyway.
