So, our door also doesn't feel like it has 100% indoor temperature in the deep winter. Sliding fingers in between sounds strange. I will take a closer look at our door this evening.

What does "talking fingers through" mean, do you have to "bend" the door (I assume plastic) for that or does it fit through as is? Then definitely something would be wrong and you shouldn't be brushed off. I'm not sure now, but are there also drainage holes in the door like in the windows so that the water that collects in the groove at the bottom can drain and is this perhaps clogged?

The temperature difference was directly at the door inside, around the outside, near the seals, and there the difference was 3-4 degrees. The door itself is of course colder than the indoor temperature, that is clear to me. But that the differences at the various points of the seals are so significant, I find that quite strange. And as mentioned, to the left of the front door is immediately the staircase, and when you stand there, you feel a noticeable draft. Yes, check that at your place. I could only get my finger through at one spot. That also seems plausible since it is exactly at the side where most of the water then "stands".

I can relatively easily insert my finger from the outside between the rubber and the door when it is locked. There are no drainage holes, at least I haven't seen any.

So without applying corresponding pressure to the door, causing it to bend slightly, you should not be able to stick your finger through. I would recommend putting a bit more pressure on the company; "it has to be this way" or "there is no other way" is a common excuse. If not the cheapest hardware store door was installed, which normally no reputable construction company does, a door should also be airtight.

Unfortunately, the company will be on vacation for the next few weeks, but we will definitely explain that the door is not in proper condition. After all, we have a door "individually and handcrafted". Whatever that is supposed to mean. It was individual in the sense that you could choose the handles and the cutout for the glass opening; everything else would have been subject to an "extra charge" (understood). I can only advise new homeowners not to be satisfied with such phrases, but to have the exact brand or an equivalent confirmed – of course in writing.
