Two questions: 1. How is the screed decoupled from the wall if the screed is already in? 2. Do you really believe that the plasterer won't make a mess? :D From experience, I can tell you that the guys make the biggest mess.

So the floor is already purchased. Vinyl on the ground floor and laminate on the other floors. And the reason I find this milk carton paper interesting is that it is waterproof.

Milk carton paper (cover cardboard) in the particularly heavy quality PAP 65 is a double-sided grey laminated, extremely strong and dimensionally stable protective cardboard with high impact resistance and a basis weight of approx. 330-360g/m². Due to the double lamination, the material used is extremely tear-resistant and impact-resistant. It lies very well on the floor without any tendency to roll. The milk carton paper (cover cardboard) is laid side by side in strips or overlapped. The cover cardboard is laid side by side in strips or overlapped and can be fixed with fabric adhesive tape. The cover cardboard is optimally suited as a substrate for scaffolding and as wall protection during concrete or screed pouring.

[*]cost-effective covering of large areas and paths
[*]protects floors, carpets, stairs, tiles, etc. (e.g. from stains caused by liquids)
    [*]peelable and wipeable
[*]no adhesion of plaster/cement on the top side (PE coating)
[*]no negative tendency to roll back and no warping (dimensionally stable quality)
[*]quick and crease-free laying (time saving)
[*]puncture- and tear-resistant, lint-free and easy to cut (cardboard)
[*]does not swell even when exposed to moisture (double-sided PE coating)
[*]reusable several times and long service life (cost saving)
[*]environmentally friendly (free from harmful substances)
    [*]thermally disposable
    [*]no color transfer

So, to be honest, I can't tell you that. In my case, it's only about an update from Q2 to Q3 or fine putty. I think the decoupling was already done earlier by the developer.

ah, so just a bit of sanding, puttying, sanding. That's definitely not a problem....

Arrrgh! That’s not what you call plastering. So forget everything we said before. Regarding covering, that sounds good. Just compare the prices. If it’s about the same or even cheaper than painter’s protective fleece, then use it. If it’s more expensive, I would take painter’s protective fleece, you can also use it for furniture transport or something like that.

Yes, I think it shouldn’t be such a huge mess. Just out of interest since we’re having such a nice chat here. What do you consider a fair price for 440sqm of surface to be plastered (wall and ceiling)? From Q2 to Q3 and paint twice with Caparol.
