But that doesn’t make any sense. The dryer has the advantage of saving me work; if I have to hang it up anyway, then why use the dryer at all?

Others have the same problem with capitalization and grammar.
I'm going to "dry the Schrank" now.

I do it the same way: air-dry in the dryer. That removes the cat hair and makes the laundry smooth and soft. Then finish drying on the drying rack. Saves electricity, protects the laundry, and I can leave it hanging as long as I want. However, bed linen, towels, underwear, and socks dry in the dryer until the end.

So we dry everything made of cotton. Nothing shrinks or gets damaged. Is it really because of the Miele? I don't really believe that.

But we do have a gentle drying cycle, which tends to take over 4-5 hours until it is cupboard dry. I don't know if there would be shrinkage with express drying. I don't dare to try it.

On the topic: A laundry chute itself would somehow be a luxury for me. I would never think about the fact that the thing somehow needs to be cleaned. I also can't imagine that germ or mold growth really plays a role as long as it doesn't get damp there. Maybe just blow in it regularly for an hour with a fan heater?

Best regards

I find a laundry chute quite practical for everyday life to avoid carrying "luggage" over distances.
We don’t have one, since, due to the architecture, we don’t have long distances anyway.

After Christmas, this condition is usually not due to the dryer...
