Laundry chute - Hygiene? How to keep it clean

The pantry is also usually placed near the kitchen... I accept the lack of space. There are plenty of options against noise. Dirt is the same whether in a room on the upper floor or the basement (I hadn’t written in the bathroom or the dressing room). We have a large floor drain (and sensor) in the laundry room. So leakage is not a problem.

I would rather have the problem that the pipe gets clogged by damp towels or something like that. We have the laundry utility room next to the bathroom on the upper floor.

So if a child vomits or has other problems with bodily fluids, you also throw that dirty laundry down the chute?? And then never clean it?? Hm okay. that may be true, but only for houses without a basement!

You don't have to push it and intentionally throw the shit-stained diaper down there. Laundry chute or not, I would always carry it down personally, or wash it by hand beforehand.
